Oh the infamous external hard drive, to some this is a means to save movies, music, pictures, games, and whatever you were able to grab from Pirate Bay... which is more than likely movies, music, pictures and games. I on the other hand, have a different use for such a device, instead of watching movies I edit them.
A little over a month ago I was on set for an indie short called "Gauntlet: The Prelude." (www.facebook.com/GauntletMovie) It's a Sci-fi/Super Hero movie about a couple of friends who invent a device that will help them fight crime in L.A. Recently I was given the opportunity to edit this project, I can't wait to see the finished product.
Lately I have been keeping busy mostly with editing and working on crews for other projects. In a way editing is like "taking a break." Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it's easy or that I won't take the project as seriously, but what I mean is that I actually find it kinda relaxing, if not therapeutic. It takes away from the pressures of writing and directing.
Pretty soon I'll get back on the ball and start making my own short films again, but for now, editing is my focus.
Keep up to date with my journey into the world of Filmmaking.
