Awkward Silence is a short film that hopes to tell an unconventional love story about the tests couples must take, in order to see if their relationship is worth fighting for. The couple in this story will not only face cultural differences, but a language barrier that becomes an obstacle in expressing their love for each other.
This film is currently in the film festival circuit and has
recently won an Honorable Mention in the Best Feature category.
A Mexican immigrant, living in a predominantly Latino neighborhood, stands witness to a new culture taking over. Things worsen when his only son begins dating a girl from the other side. Now he must choose to accept their relationship or put an end to it.
